1. The Mary Tyler Moore Show
The Mary Tyler Moore Show, or MTM, aired for seven years from 1970-1977. It won three Golden Globes and was nominated for 22 Emmys. In its time, it was the most popular show on television, winning many of its races to the Emmy’s.
The Mary Tyler Moore show was the brainchild of Mary Tyler Moore who wanted to create a show about a woman working in New York City. After a successful pilot episode, MTM Enterprises produced 13 more episodes in 1977. This was followed by another nine episodes in 1978, and then the show was cancelled.
The Mary Tyler Moore Show is an American television comedy series that aired on CBS from 1970 to 1977. The series was created by Grant Tinker and Robert Montgomery for MTM Productions. The show starred Mary Tyler Moore in the title role as Mary Richards, a television journalist. The series won two Golden Globes and an Emmy.
